Name of Programme Description
Integrated Learning Journeys
P1: Term 4, Week 2
P2: Term 2, Week 10
Pupils will go on learning journeys to various venues in Singapore and have real-life experience through interaction with environment and see elements of Mathematics at work in Nature. Pupils will then apply their Mathematical knowledge and skills in problem-solving based on the experience they have from the learning journeys.
Maths Triva Via Maths Learning Board
(Term 1 – 4)
Pupils browse interesting Maths content and trivias put up by the Maths Department and be engaged beyond classroom lessons to extend their learning of current topics. 
Mental Calculations
(Term 1 – 4)
Pupils exercise their mental calculations weekly to develop factual fluency in pupils and decrease the cognitive load on pupils in problem solving and mathematics. 
Building Numeracy through Maths Games
(Term 1 – 4)
Pupils are engaged in Maths related games such as Numeracy Snake and Ladder board games and tangrams to build numeracy and mathematical process skills. 
Heuristics for Problem Solving
(Term 3 – 4) 
Pupils will be learning how to approach problem sums with Polya’s Problem Solving approach and the various heuristics skills to be equipped with a wide variety of problem solving process skills. 

Strong process skills such as reasoning, communication and connections, applications and modelling, in pupils for problem solving will also be developed. 
Maths Appreciation Day
(Term 4, Week 9/10 )
Pupils will be working in small groups and move from stations to stations to have hands-on experience on Maths related games and activities so as to sharpen the thinking skills of pupils and to develop pupils' social skills.
Learning Support Mathematics
(Term 1 – 4) 
Identified Primary One and Two pupils are taught by trained teachers in small groups during Maths periods with lessons and activities filled with hands-on activities so as to level up and help them achieve an age-appropriate mathematical age by equipping them with the mathematical skills and knowledge.
