PCPS had our Values-In-Action 1.6 km Walkathon for the second year running on 7 November. It was a meaningful morning of fun and physical endurance for our pupils. This event was a collaboration with South East CDC ‘Walk for Rice’ campaign to raise rice for the needy residents of the South East district of Singapore. For every 200 m walked, each pupil raised 1 bowl of white rice and 1 bowl of brown rice. In total, our school walked a total distance of 628.8km and has raised 3144 bowls of white rice and 3144 bowls of brown rice. Through this activity, our pupils were able to empathise and help the needy, affect others positively with their actions and care for the less fortunate while serving the community.
